The Branna Hollow farm stand at sunset — a vintage camper with crates of produce on the table, a red gumball machine, an egg box and a yellow umbrella. Dusk settling over the back field under a broken sky. Margie the goat standing in the open bed of a pickup truck. Two white Silkie hens settled in among the brush. An antique hay rake sitting out in the field with the hoop houses beyond. A mown trail receding through dense woods at the edge of the farm.

What we keep, and what keeps us busy

Butters, a white goat, looking straight up over the fence rail with the rest of the herd behind.

The Animals

A large flock of free-roaming hens & roosters, a few goats, a couple cows, and two dogs that will likely say hi to you (from behind the fence!)

A sunflower in full bloom against the garden fence, two bees working the centre.

The Gardens

Our fruits, flowers, herbs & vegetables are harvested from a large outdoor plot, raised garden beds, an orchard, and 2 hoop houses — allowing for all season growing.

Two beehive stacks standing in the long grass at the field edge.

The Hives

Two beehives and acres of clover & wildflower result in a long season of sweet & flavorful honey — all harvested & jarred onsite.

Who’s back there

A woman, a family, and a good many chickens

Our family moved here in 2025 with a simple idea of rooting ourselves in nature and practicing sustainable farming to help supplement the rising costs and lowering standards of general groceries. Fast forward to 2026 and our small farm that started with some overgrown blackberry brambles, 2 hives & a dozen adopted hens (plus one rooster, Charlie) has expanded to a flock of 100 & a variety of seasonal crops. We’ve additionally since welcomed 4 goats and 3 cows into our farm family as well.

What we don’t need from our harvest we offer at our farm stand, kept at reasonable prices to share as much as we can with our neighbors & community.

“Grown with care. Made by hand. Rooted in nature.”

Tours & group outings

Come see how it works

We’re happy to walk small groups around the farm — meet the hens, say hello to the goats, see where the produce & honey come from.

  • A walk through the orchard, hoop houses, garden beds and a stop at the henhouse
  • Time with the goats and the cows, which is most kids’ favorite part
  • A look at the hives from a safe distance, and how the honey gets jarred
  • A leisurely hike along our forest trails
  • Great for school and scout groups, homeschool co-ops, garden clubs, or a few families who want a slower morning
  • Best for groups of about 8–25. Reach out and we’ll work out timing together.
